Illustrator Turns Instagram Photos Into Tiny Paintings

Spring is good for more than just sakura selfies and being a crutch for hack poets. Kasia Haldas is celebrating the season by painting small images united by a natural theme every day. Her inspiration comes from pictures that Instagram users send her. Choosing one every day, she paints a small 25cm x 25cm picture. It’s a collaborative sort of spring!

Kasia Haldas is currently located in Belin. She has a BA in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design. Haldas moved to Germany after a few years of professional work and started “Kasia & company”. 

She’s been doing freelance illustration since 2014. Haldas uses watercolors, inks, color pencils, pastels and acrylic paints.
