Remix Mini - The World's First True Android PC Costs Just $20!

Android is one of the more versatile operating systems around – it works on smartphones, tablets, TVs and desktop PCs. This is one of the latter. It's called Remix Mini, and it costs just $20. Yes, you read that right, $20.

It runs Android Lollipop but with its own Remix OS over the top. This promises to make it feel more like a PC experience, while still having access to the 1.5 million Android apps. It's made by the people behind the Mii PC, which gives it pretty good pedigree.

It's also small enough to fit in your pocket. Take it anywhere you have access to a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and you can start computing with all your own files and settings.

You power it up by tapping the button on the top, so you'll never have to reach around the back like on an iMac. And it packs the usual connections: Ethernet port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB ports.

It's also uses just 10 watts of power, making it more efficient than a traditional desktop. Hence it's better for the environment, and for your bank balance come electricity bill time.

Remix Mini on Kickstarter starting at $20

Jide Technology, innovators of Remix Mini and Remix OS just launched their Kickstarter campaign and they will reward backers starting with a $20 tier and shipping globally. From entrepreneurs to students, the Remix Mini campaign is a must-see.
